The 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD continually ranks among the most popular heavy-duty pickups at the Herl Chevrolet GMC showroom. You get your choice among two big 6.6-liter V8 engines. A naturally aspirated, gasoline-fueled motor puts out 445 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque while the Duramax turbo-diesel gives you up to 401 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. A 10-speed automatic sends the power to the drive wheels and helps the Sierra 2500HD to tow up to 14,500 pounds.
Technology
GMC equips the 2-021 Sierra 2500HD with advanced safety and driver-assistance technology, including forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance and lane-departure warning. Blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic cover the driver’s blind spots.
Interior & Exterior
The Sierra 2500HD offers your choice of three cabins sizes that fit up to six passengers. A regular cabin has two doors and a split front bench seat while two extended cabin options add a rear bench and two more doors. Bed sizes range from 81.6 inches to 98.4 inches long and hauls up to 3,900 pounds with a heavy-duty chassis and suspension.
